What brought you to finance?
In the insurance industry I found a sector which plays an important role in the lives of many people : we are present with products & services at many important moments in life, even the most difficult ones. That is part of our societal role.
What did you recently learn regarding gender equality?
I would ask all women to stand up for other women and defend each other’s viewpoints ! Let’s not forget Madeleine Albright “ there is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.”
What was the decision that had the most impact in your career?
That was the day I’ve decided only to do the things I am good at, to endeavor in projects that give me a good feeling and focus on what makes me happy.
What would you tell your younger self?
Don’t let anyone ever tell you your dreams are out of reach. Never underestimate your full potential !
An important message to share with students in finance or young women starting their career?
Make yourself visible and build up alliances with other women, invest in networking moments and stakeholder management.
